Festival Countdown - August 7 - 9, 2026
Highlights for the 81st!
We're so thrilled to be welcoming viral internet sensation, Ally the Piper, to the Festival this summer! Ally will be performing all three days. In addition, we also can't wait to welcome Outlander star John Bell (aka young Ian Murray) as our Featured Guest this summer!
As always, we will have amazing Heavy Events, Highland Dance, and Pipes & Drums competitions all weekend long! The Tea Tent returns with Carriage House, the Whisky Village features local distillers, and the Clans & Heritage area will provide guests an immersive historical experience (with Highland cows, sheep and Clydesdale horses too!). We'll have over 100 vendors with Scottish fares & wares, and we haven't forgotten about the wee ones with a boisterous McKiddies area. It's sure to be a kilt-tilting year.
Festival and Community Organization Volunteer Roles & Responsibilities
Your health and safety is important to us.

Festival Risk Management Policy
Any member of the Festival Board, staff, or the Festival or Community Organization volunteer teams on site who become aware of or receive notification of an actual or pending emergency should contact the emergency and on-call services onsite using radio channel 1. Emergency personnel will respond and direct from that point. IN THE EVENT OF ANY EMERGENCY REQUIRING IMMEDIATE POLICE, FIRE, OR EMERGENCY PARAMEDIC SERVICES CALL 911.
When the fog horn is sounded for emergency purposes using a ONE 10 SECOND FOG HORN BLAST venue chair/volunteers must ensure that activity is ended immediately so that special instructions can be heard by volunteers and patrons.
Watch this video to learn about how to respond to different emergency situations on the grounds. Pause to take notes or screenshots for reference.
Stakeholder Behaviours
To define those behaviours required of volunteers, Community Organization partners, suppliers, sponsors, competitors, vendors and concession proprietors to the Festival.
